When non-optometric disorders are diagnosed, we work with other allied health care professionals and specialists, such as neurologists, dermatologists, internists, ophthalmologists, and others as necessary.
Comprehensive eye examinations are performed for all ages. We recommend that you have your eyes examined every year. Rapidly changing prescriptions, contact lens wearers and certain health conditions may require more frequent evaluation.
We make patient education and awareness a top priority, and encourage any questions pertaining to your eye exam, visual condition or optical requirements. The more information you give us with respect to your specific visual needs, the more we are able to custom design your optical correction, if required, to provide best performance during all hours of your day.
Who Needs Eye Exams?
Eye health exams are one of the best ways to protect your vision. Knowing what's involved in the exam and how to prepare for the exam will help you get the most out of your visit.
An eye exam is one of the best ways to protect your vision because it can detect eye problems at their earliest stage; when they're most treatable. Regular eye exams give your eye care professional a chance to help you correct or adapt to vision changes. And the optometrists / eye care specialists at Stirling Eyecare & LASIK Center can give you expert tips on ways to reduce eyestrain and how to care for your eyes.
Even if you think your eyes are healthy, you'll still need an eye exam from time to time. Eye exams can make sure your eyes are healthy now and help you understand your risk of eye disease in the future.
